Center Parcs

Center Parcs is the leader in the short break holiday market and is open throughout the year. There are three UK locations, Sherwood, Elveden and Longleat Forest,

Known as Villages, each of which is set in 400 acres of forest with a network of streams, waterways and a lake. Center Parcs is unique in the way that the environment and the sports and leisure facilities at each village have been designed to enable guests to rapidly unwind and refresh themselves, whether they prefer to relax, take things easy or be active. Guests are able to try new leisure interests or simply enjoy a cycle ride or walk through the forest. The facilities include indoor and outdoor sports, leisure, health, beauty and relaxation, shops and restaurants and a Subtropical Swimming Paradise. There are approximately 700 villas on each Village to accommodate guests.

The Villages are open throughout the year (365 days). Breaks may be taken either mid-week (Monday to Friday) or at weekends (Friday to Monday). Longer breaks of a week or more may also be taken. On any day there may be 3,000 guests on a Village but you never get the feeling of too many people due to the forest setting.

Center Parcs was conceived in Holland more than thirty years ago and has gradually been developed and expanded to 13 villages across Europe. The concept is being continually developed, not simply by the opening of new Villages, but also through the introduction of new ideas and facilities. Scottish & Newcastle Plc own the company.
