Center Parcs
To provide the high quality experience that guests associate with Center Parcs, about 1,000 staff are employed at each Village. They work together to ensure that guests are delighted with their break and continue to make return visits. This requires a wide range of skills and people willing to learn. Recruitment takes place at various entry points:
- school leavers with or without qualifications aged - 16 and 17
- those aged 18 or over with or without qualifications
- college/ graduate qualified entrants
- mature persons looking to change jobs or to re-enter employment.
The majority of staff are employed on a permanent basis either full time or part time but there are also opportunities for temporary work. Unfortunately Center Parcs does not provide accomodation for staff although there is a small amount of staff accommodation available at Longleat Forest only.

Because our success depends upon providing a refreshing and exhilarating experience for our guests, there are certain basic criteria that most applicants would be expected to demonstrate:
- A desire to help and serve people whether guests or other members of staff
- A sense of humour and fun - our guests want to enjoy their stay
- Reliability- people feel confident that you will do what you said
- Attention to detail - things must be right for our guests
- Personal energy - you work at a reasonable pace and can adjust your pace to busier and quieter periods - people feel relaxed that you will attend to them as quickly as practical
- A willingness to learn
- Available to work early or late shifts - a requirement of many jobs
- Available to work weekdays and weekends including a share of bank holidays as the Villages are open every day; a few jobs are required to work on weekdays only
- Able to get to the location by their own means - transport may be provided for part time housekeeping staff
