Springboard UK Ambassadors Programme
The definition of a Springboard UK Ambassador is one who is “an enthusiastic, motivated individual who loves their job, is passionate about the industry and would love to spread the word about the industry and about joining this exciting dynamic industry and influence potential recruits.”
Springboard UK Ambassadors are people already working in the Hospitality, Leisure, Travel & Tourism industries with our sponsor employers and other industry partners. They have been specially selected for their passion and enthusiasm. They are ‘recruited’ to spread the word about the exciting, varied and real opportunities across the industry to school and college students, teachers and parents. By being bright, progressive advocates at the sharp end, ambassadors provide a realistic insight into the jobs opportunities and progression available based on their own – often amusing – experiences!
Objective of Course
The objective of the Springboard UK Ambassadors programme is to provide people already employed in the industry with the skills and knowledge required to go out and spread a positive message about the industries all across Britain. By recruiting enthusiastic people and giving them the necessary presentation skills they are able to deliver this message via their own experiences & successes.
- To train people in presentational skills allowing the Ambassadors to present the Hospitality, Leisure, Travel and Tourism industry to a wide variety of audiences.
- To produce a variety of visual aids which are informative but yet fun.
- To create awareness of how to give careers advice and of materials and other products.
The overall emphasis made on the course is that the presentations given should be informative but also fun, creating interest and inspiration!
Target Audience
The Ambassadors programme is aimed at any employee who is enthusiastic, bubbly and keen on representing their sector of the industry to school and college students.
