Industry charities Hospitality Action and Springboard have joined forces on a combined fund-raising initiative Spring2Action, supported by celebrated Chef Brian Turner CBE.

Hotels, restaurants, pubs & bars, caterers, motorway services and suppliers are encouraged to take part. It costs nothing, is very simple to operate and by getting involved you will be greatly assisting the work of Springboard and Hospitality Action.

All you need to do is commit to adding a small voluntary donation to your customers' bill - we suggest 2%, but it is entirely up to you how much you choose to add – 50p, £1, 1% or 2%.

You can run Spring2Action at any time and for any length of time during 2007 – whichever suits your business the best and fits with other promotional commitments. There are no restrictions on the length of time you run it for – it could be for one day, one week, three months or the whole year – it is simply up to you.

All we ask you to do is:

1. Register your commitment on line by clicking here
2. Confirm the amount of the donation you will add to the bill either as a % or monetary amount
3. Confirm the length of time you intend to run Spring2Action
4. Confirm the initial stock of point of sales materials required
5. Agree to submit forms promptly with payment at agreed times (either weekly, monthly or as a one-off payment)

On receipt of your registration, we will confirm your details, send through promotional materials and donation return forms and keep in touch from time to time.

We will also recognise your valued participation on our web-site through logo recognition and in any other promotional activity associated with Spring2Action.
